Yurts
are ideal destinations for overnight and day trips. We have three
yurts conveniently located next to our cross country ski trails.
The Overlook yurt is located an easy distance from the lodge.
Poplar Hill yurt is located on Brassua Lake, 6 miles from our
main lodge by trail. The Three Sisters yurt is another easily
accessible yurt. Each yurt is equipped with a wood stove, gas
lights, a double Coleman outdoor burner, bunk beds, table and
benches. Bring your own sleeping bags and flashlights for a more
comfortable and enjoyable stay. Let us transport your gear to
either one and have a warm fire crackling in the wood stove waiting

The nomads
of Siberia draped furs and skins over a lattice framework to create
warm, portable shelters called Yurts. The Birches offers a modern
variation of these rustic abodes. Located within our 11,000 acre
wilderness preserve at varying intervals, the Yurts are ideal
destinations for overnight and day trips. Special
note: daylight arrivals are a must!
