Our East Outlet Family Rafting Trip is an easy excursion – perfect for beginners and for families with children ages 5 and up. The East Outlet, on the Kennebec River, has introductory Class 2 and 3 rapids. Our specially-trained Maine guides will teach you basic rafting skills. You’ll venture down river in small rafts or in “duckies” (inflatable kayaks) by yourself or with a guide – it’s your choice. Enjoy swimming, surfing or sunbathing before you head to Indian Pond for a picnic lunch.
