The East Outlet Family Rafting Trip is a fun and exciting rafting excursion for the beginner and novice alike. The minimum age is 5 for this trip, which has class 2 and 3 introductory whitewater on the East Outlet of the Kennebec River. Depending on the ages and experience of the group for the day, you may venture down the river in either small rafts or in inflatable kayaks (duckies). You'll follow our guides who will teach you basic rafting skills. Cruise down the more mellow paths of the river or chose a wet and wild path! It is all up to you and your comfort level! Self-guided rafts or inflatable kayaks are included. Guides in the boat are optional. Enjoy swimming, surfing or just plain lounging before you head to Indian Pond for a picnic lunch. This is one of our most tame and scenic of our rafting trips.
